Why do we need a base virtual ID?
There are many cases where the base data leakage has been reportedly made. People are concerned about the security of their base and its details. UIDAI has addressed the concerns of the people and is with the virtual ID. When users provide their virtual ID instead of the base, then the agencies can not obtain the applicant’s base number and authentication is done normally. Thus, the basis details are not used by the agencies in any way to keep the base numbers and other details safe from being hacked.
Base holders can generate virtual IDs and use it to authenticate for the service. Once the authentication is complete, the applicant can reproduce his virtual ID, if the details are saved with the agency agency are useless.
